This is the first list in a series (20 lists total) that will cover virtually every term found on the JLPT2 Test specification, and (for the most part) does not contain words from the other levels of the test.Each list will contain roughly 230 words, and probably less. I personally aim to do complete one list every 17 days starting the day after the 2008 JLPT (although I am already behind), which would leave me with enough time for review before the 2009 JLPT. The list is divided in such a way as to avoid having homonyms occur in the same set, which can cause frustration and bouts of fury in the student.This could not have been done without Peter Van Der Woude, whose efforts in cataloging the vocabulary lists provided me with both the necessary words and the necessary resolve to make this list.
